 Ascend Canada was founded in 2012 to enhance the presence, visibility and influence of current and future Pan-Asian business leaders. Today, with the support of our more than 7,000 members and numerous corporate partners, our objectives are to develop the full potential of our members by leveraging our networks and providing programs and events that inspire, as well as educate.

We are Step Above Stigma (SAS)—a Canadian charity dedicated to empowering young adults to break the stigmas that say they are unworthy since 2017.  SAS is a home that empowers young adults to critically question social norms and step above the stigmas that prevent them from having good mental health. At SAS, empowerment is the antidote to stigma. 

Our mission is to instil community, leadership, and purpose in 250,000 young adults by 2027 so they can live mentally healthier lives.

Ascend is powered by a network of accomplished professionals and executives from Fortune 500 companies who generously volunteer their time in order to advance the state of API equity at work. 

 We develop, support, and empower Pan-Asians throughout their careers with a network for growth and advancement that enables our members to serve our vibrant communities to the best of their abilities.
